Most people firmly believe that men are tougher than women. And although that may be the case for the most part, it is not so for the Chinese women. They have been trained to be able to suffer, endure, and fight anything and everything that may come their way. Why? To become bodyguards. As there is a rising demand for personal bodyguards in China, these training schools have become more and more popular, especially amongst women.
At first glance, these women may look delicate…but they are definitely not.
This training program makes the women go through self defence and survival training.
The training is inspired by special forces training from all over the world.
The trainees come from a wide background. 70% of them are retired soldiers and athletes. College graduates make up the other 30%.
The classes are tough and gruelling.
All students must finish training before they can become bodyguards.
They are taught martial arts.
These women know how to handles themselves.
In recent years, there has been a significant interested in training.
They learn impressive techniques.
And they posses impressive skills.
Compared to a male bodyguard, a female bodyguard can disguise herself as a secretary or personal assistant without appearing to indiscreet. They’re sought after by business executives.
As there are more wealthy citizens in China, the demand for personal security has increased.
