A young designer by the name of Lucas Iaconi-Stewart is not your typical guy. Lucas spend 5 years of his life building and designing an exact replica of an Air India 777-300ER airplane only out of a manilla folder! Lucas was so enthralled in his project that he decided to drop out of college and focus solely on building his model plane.
He began by tracing a can of cocoa on a piece of paper
Then, he began gluing the sections of the plane together
He had made his skeleton!
He proceeded to add the “skin” of the fuselage
This was all very detail oriented
After many many hours…
Did I mention he spent 5 years doing this?
Thins were beginning to take shape!
Look at the detail!
He cut, measured, glued, and concentrated on thousands of tiny piece of paper
I am speechless…
Every piece was made exactly to scale!
It took him about 20 minutes for each seat….there were A LOT of seats
Of course, the famous airplane toilet too!
A closer look inside…
